The Team...

I do not officially have staff members that would be included in any show design package.  I'm basically a one person business, of sorts, and I sometimes use outside sources for consultation, advice and additional help.

Over the past 22 years, 14 of which holding positions of Visual or Marching Caption head and the last 10 years designing shows as well, I've helped placed several instructional staff within the ensembles for which I've worked. In addition, when my design schedule was full, I've had to pass on design gigs to other designers or offer them as alternatives.

Here is a list of those with whom I have directly worked along side and who I still count on from time to time for advice or as additional staff when an ensemble is in need.

John Bogenshutz (CO) - John is a wonderful arranger/composer who currently resides in Florida. He and I work with Karns High School though he also has instructional and writing history with Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps and is currently arranger/composer for Timber Creek HS in Orlando Florida.

Josh Hinkel (SC) - Josh is a part of JW3 Music Publication and is based in the Myrtle Beach area. Excellent arranger/composer for Winds and Percussion along with conceptual development. Josh is a part of the design team who works with Epiphany CCU Indoor Drumline.

Tyler Long (OK) -

Shane Kelbley (OH) - Shane is a well renowned arranger from Ohio. Has written for top ensembles in OMEA, Mid-States and BOA. I had the opportunity to design to his arrangements for Bradford HS in Bradford Ohio. Excellent arrangements; well suited for the ensembles for which he writes. I look forward to designing to more of his arrangements in the future.

Peter Hussey (IL) - Had the opportunity to hear Pete's writing when I was helping the Winter Guard at Danville High School. We usually rehearsed in the same field house, at the same time. It was amazing the musicality he was able to put into his arrangements. Tasteful, appropriate, musical, simply impressive. He helps coordinate music and arranges the percussion book for Alton HS near St Louis in IL but I have been fortunate to have worked with him at Troy HS in Ohio, for the 2002 indoor season and 2002-2004 Fall marching seasons.
